Our Grooming Staff

Tonia grew up in the Logan city region and has 13 years’ experience as a groomer.

Tonia practises gentle handling techniques and has a trusting relationship with her furry customers. From the age of 4, Tonia grew up around all sorts of animals including dogs, cats and guinea pigs and considers herself to be a ‘dog whisperer’, always maintaining a soft and respectful approach, which helps anxious animals to relax. She makes sure that grooming is a positive experience for everyone.

Her expertise includes breed clips, such as West Highlight White Terriers and Schnauzers, Poodles, as well as traditional clips, which are particularly popular in spring and summer.

Tonia also has a creative side – she is an artist in her spare time and uses her artistic flare and attention to detail to cater for individual owner requests – simply show her a picture of the type of clip you will like, and she will endeavour to reproduce it! This unique talent of combining her artistic skills with her love for animals has ensured that Tonia is in her dream job as a dog groomer.

Tonia is much loved by our staff and clients and puts 100% into her grooming work.

She has a Ragdoll cat at home called “Henry” and in her spare time paints water coloured portraits, including pets! When not in the doggy salon, you’ll find Tonia reading, hiking, camping or at the beach.

We’re sure our patients don’t have favourites, but if they did, it would undoubtably be Will. After all, he’s the one who gives them a bath and a blow dry!

Part of our brother-sister grooming team, Will provides assistance to his older sister and groomer Tonia by prepping our canine friends for their regular grooming session.

Pampering pups is a busy job for Will, who thoroughly enjoys catching up with his regular clients. He does have a soft spot for cocker spaniel Nelson though (shhh…don’t tell the others)!

Will’s gentle nature is perfect for this role, as he puts the dogs at ease, preps them for their grooming session, and ensures they leave feeling happy, relaxed and looking their very best. It’s mutually beneficial too as Will absolutely loves the company of dogs.

Outside of our practice, Will likes to explore his creative side making and selling wire bonsai trees. He’s also a budding musician, first exploring instruments such as the piano and drums before settling on the guitar. You won’t find him on stage anytime soon though – he’s strictly a ‘bedroom’ musician who enjoys honing his craft at home.

You may find him at the gym or out hiking on the trails however, as Will is a bit of a fitness fanatic who likes to keep active. Will does have aspirations to become a groomer sometime in the future, for now he is happy being able to work alongside his sister Tonia. Of course, we’re very pleased to have this dynamic sibling duo working with us in the practice.
