What to look for in the mouth?
Lift the lip on your pets mouth and look for red swollen or bleeding gums.
Smell your pets mouth, if it smells then there is probally a good chance of dental disease.

Look for discoloured teeth, you may see brownish build up on teeth, or yellow staining and in severe cases yellowish discharge like pus around the teeth.
